A Unique “Date”

I had a nice day out with my hubby. He called it a date. I said the date part sounded terrific—better than the doctor’s appointment part. Still, it was good to spend the day with him—and we did go out for supper afterwards.

The doctor continues to be amazed at how well Matt is doing despite the poor diagnosis and prognosis. Of course, we all know that a prognosis is not synonymous with God’s will. We continue to pray for a miracle, while leaving the outcome in His loving hands.

Since discontinuing the chemotherapy, due to the fact that the tumors were growing despite it, Matt has not had another CT scan. The new plan is for Matt to have a CT scan on September 20, with a follow up appointment to learn the results on September 28. This should give us a clearer picture of what is going on inside his body.

We thank you for your prayers and encouraging words and will update you again after his next doctor’s appointment.

You are more than welcome! I love the “date” concept – that’s a good one. Thanks for keeping us posted. ~Janet~

    Hi Rosie,

I’m new to your blog. I was looking for chemo info and came upon your blogger and now here. My sister will be starting chemo soon. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
